A Look at the Belkin Wireless N Router

The Belkin wireless N router is a unique itsybitsy gismo in the wireless internet router market. It's not quite a home router and it's not quite a firm router, and it's been marketed as both.

The fact is, it's sort of a hybrid, perfect for large homes or small businesses, capable of handling three or four connections at once with no truly noticeable slowdown, and even more without any major lag.

It's as collect as you can expect a wireless router to be in this day and age. So long as your Wep settings are adjusted correctly, you shouldn't have any fear of anybody hacking and cracking their way into your Belkin wireless n router and stealing your personal information, or even using your internet association for free.

What we like most about the Belkin wireless N router is the fact that it's probably more mighty than you need it to be. Most home network users will only run this thing to about fifty percent its maximum capacity. In fact, if you're able to get this router to slow down significantly, we might like to hear exactly what you were trying to do with it. Unless you're running some torrents, playing an online game, checking your email and watching Youtube videos all at the same time on five or six different laptops, there's very itsybitsy opportunity of pushing the wireless N router to its limit with basic home use.

Our ranking for this product- As a home router, A++. For two or three laptops, it will give you good operation than you even need. As a firm router, somewhere in the A- or B+ range. It's great for small business, but you'll see the chinks in its armor if you try to run a whole office on it. In the end, it's indubitably designed for the home or very small businesses, but it's marketed as a hybrid and so you might go in with false expectations.

However, for the price, it's absolutely an A++ no matter how you slice it: A small firm capable router for home use.

If you have a large house and you're getting tired of all the slowdown that occurs when you've got everybody on their laptops at once, go ahead and spend in the wireless n router from Linksys. If your family's going to treat your internet like a small office network, you might as well get a router that's perfect for the small office network!
